Do I need experience?
Not at all, our classes are designed to be approachable for people of all levels of experience.
When is practice?
Practice time and location varies depending on what class level you are at. For more information, please visit our Schedule and Location page.
Do we have to pay?
There is a club member fee of $45. For new members, this helps cover the fee of a Gi. Fees are collected by our treasurers, Deitra and Jessica.
How do we get updates?

What do I wear to practice?
A good ol' t-shirt and sweatpants, leggings, or shorts should do the trick. We also take off our shoes and socks during practice. If you have Gi, then wear that for practice.
How long do practices last for?
Usually, practices are 2 hours (120 minutes) long, but we may run overtime for special events or to stay for extra practice.
How do I move up a belt?
The ISKF Headquaters provides offical testing administerated by licensed examiners. When the team is ready, we will take a day to test at the ISKF Headquaters on 45th Street. Examiners will pass you based in criteria such as your demostarion of skill, technique, spirit, etc.. For more information, please visit the Belts and Ranks page.
Do we have competitions?
All members are encouraged to register for and compete in tournaments if they'd like to. We try to send a group to ISKF Nationals annually and members individually compete in other tournaments throughout the year.
